Love everything about this beautiful and unique spot. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and sake. Every single dish was so delicious, flavorful and cooked to perfection. Every staff member there was so friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is amazing. Chill music played throughout the evening. We will absolutely be back for a repeat.

Coming ~from Philly~, I’m spoiled with delicious food options everywhere in the city. I have to reel in my expectations (in the most non-pretentious way) when visiting restaurants in smaller towns. So when my husband told me he found a super hip place with an impressive food and cocktail menu, I was skeptical. Boy, was I wrong. Not only were the cocktails *legitimate* (delicious, well-balanced, etc.), the food was awesome. See: late-night menu curry katsu, chili dumplings, and spicy cukes. The real cherry on top was the VIBE. Great music, lighting, decor, and service. It’s so good, we went twice in one day! First at open, and again for late night hangs. This is THE place to go when visiting Lancaster.

Have not dined here yet, but they offer a wide range of small plates and more “snacky” options at the bar. Fantastic vibe, sweet live DJ playing some pretty deep tracks, Sapporo on tap, what more could you want? Reasonable prices and love the ambiance.

My wife and I hit up Hi-Fi Izakaya in Lancaster for date night—It has been on my list to visit since they opened. We kicked things off with a couple of their signature cocktails—bold, balanced, and totally unique. Definitely not your average bar drinks. First plate out: shishito peppers. Smoky, blistered just right, with a hint of citrus heat. Simple, but addictive. Then came the tuna ceviche—super fresh, bright, and beautifully plated. And the wagyu meatballs? Unreal. Rich, tender, and packed with umami. Easily the standout of the night. I love tapas/small plate style and they had a little of everything. The staff did a great job. They rotate their menu regularly, which is something I love to see. The whole vibe of Hi-Fi is laid-back but stylish—vinyl spinning, dim lights, Tokyo-meets-Lancaster energy. Perfect for a chill but elevated night out. If you're in Lancaster and want great food, great music, and a spot that feels like a little escape—Hi-Fi Izakaya is a must.

I went twice in one week...it was that good!! The food was amazing each time. The drinks on point. The eclectic ambiance might just be the key that molds this place into the perfect spot for date night or a friendly gathering. I look forward to my next visit.

Celebrated Independence Day Japanese style…visited for a cocktail and some snacks and thoroughly enjoyed our visit! Great music provided by an on-site DJ setting an awesome chill vibe with some upbeat beats! Cocktails & food menus are creative and of course Japanese inspired. Special menu for the 4th feature some super good wings, Japanese Hotdog, nice salad and a delicious small potato app! Kirin drafts were crisp and cold and the cocktail spritz was super tasty. Prices are just slightly above average but well worth the atmosphere and tasty bites.

Hi-Fi Izakaya doesn’t just offer curated cocktails and vibey music but your tastebuds will go on a unique and incredible adventure if you decide to sample from their sound bites menu. My friend and I shared 6 plates between us and felt very satisfied with the portions. We had an extremely hard time choosing a favorite dish but we think the Chili dumplings might have the win (the sauce they come with was out of this world). We also enjoyed the Kyuri Suinomono (the pickled cucumbers) for their unique spice and the contrasting creamy sauce. The Xo broccolini were an enjoyable fresh element to the night and provided a concentrated grilled flavor. The Wagyu Menchi Meatballs were super flavorful and everything you’d expect them to be. The curry fries were tasty and very unique but in a way a bit disappointing for me…they seemed less complex than the other dishes. The Kara-age chicken which can also be ordered at Issei Noodle never disappoint and were extremely crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Also the yuzu mayo is a must when given the choice of sauces. To finish the night we had Matcha mochi and they were exactly what I wanted and were expecting (delicious). I would absolutely recommend checking this place out for a date night or with a larger group. The menu allows not just for a typical night out to dinner but also a unique experience with each dish.

Pure atmosphere. This place just gets you in the mood to hang out. An amazing selection of creative food and cocktails, paired with a wide selection of cheep domestic and imported beers makes this place enjoyable for whatever your vibe is.

amazing!!!! the food was absolutely delicious, and came out so fast. i swear we ordered our food and 5 minutes later it started coming out. the atmosphere was so fun, especially with the dj. i will most definitely be coming back here.
